Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us for using this software.
01 Who this is between
These Terms are an agreement between you — the person or business signing up — and the operator of https://azp.app and the software behind it. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms.
If you are signing up on behalf of a shop, a company, or anyone other than yourself, you confirm you have permission to bind them to these Terms.
02 Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. Do not share your password. If someone else uses your account, that is on you until you tell us otherwise.
- One person per login. Use the multi-user features to add staff — do not share one account between cashiers. Each sale, refund and stock movement is recorded against the user who made it, and a shared login destroys that record.
- Keep your email address current. It is how password resets and account notices reach you.
- Two-factor authentication is available on every account and can be required for all staff in a shop. Turning it on is strongly recommended for anyone with admin access.
- If you suspect a breach, change your password immediately and tell us: no-reply@example.com.
03 What you can do with it
Run your shop. Sell, track stock, keep your books, invoice your customers, and report on all of it. That is what XPos is for and there are no restrictions on ordinary commercial use of it for your own business.
What you must not do:
- Resell or sublicense access to anyone outside your own business.
- Attempt to reach another shop's data, or to test whether you can.
- Use it for anything illegal where you trade, or to process payments you are not entitled to take.
- Automate against it in a way that degrades service for other shops on the same server.
04 Your data belongs to you
Everything you put in — products, customers, sales, invoices, accounts — is yours. We claim no ownership of it and we do not sell it, mine it, or share it with anyone for marketing.
Each shop's records are separated at the database level: every query for shop-scoped data carries that shop's identifier, so one shop cannot read another's even by accident. That separation is enforced structurally rather than by convention, and it is checked automatically before every release.
Where it physically lives is your choice, not ours. This software runs on hosting you provide and control. We do not hold a copy of your database, and we cannot retrieve it for you if your host loses it — see Availability.
05 Availability, backups and support
There is no uptime guarantee. The software runs on hosting you chose and pay for, and its availability is your hosting provider's, not ours. We do not monitor your installation and will not know if it goes down.
Backups are your responsibility. The software does not currently take them. Use your hosting control panel's database export on a schedule you are comfortable losing data between, and keep a copy somewhere other than the same server. This is the single most important sentence on this page.
Support is best-effort by email: no-reply@example.com. We answer questions about the software. We cannot administer your server, recover a database you did not back up, or act as your hosting provider's support desk.
06 Paid plans and payments
Where subscription plans are enabled, prices are shown before you commit and are charged for the period you select — monthly or yearly. Changing plan takes effect when the payment for the new plan completes.
- Card details never reach this software. Payments are handled by the payment provider, on their own pages. We store a reference to the transaction and the amount, never a card number.
- A failed renewal does not delete anything. The subscription is marked past due, you are emailed, and there is a grace period before access is restricted.
- Taxes are yours to account for. Prices shown are exclusive of any tax you owe where you trade.
07 Ending it
You can stop using XPos whenever you like. Deleting your company from the settings page removes your products, sales, customers, invoices, uploaded files and staff accounts permanently — it is not a soft delete and it cannot be undone. Export anything you need first.
We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or other shops on it. Where there is any reasonable alternative we will contact you first.
08 Liability, in plain words
The software is provided as it is. We have tested it thoroughly and we do not warrant that it is free of defects, that it fits any particular purpose, or that it will always be available.
To the extent the law where you trade allows it, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your accounting records are yours to verify. The software posts double-entry journal entries and produces financial statements, and it is not a substitute for an accountant. Check your figures before you file anything.
09 Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with them. For anything that affects what you pay or what happens to your data, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
